This is a community website, where the community can get involved. The idea started out as a simple directory to Kingston business websites, so that we could shop locally and support the people that live here, work here and shop here. This evolved into a community based site, where community members can recommend sites, rate the businesses in the directory and communicate with one another. The final component is the GasBuzz.

GasBuzz takes the price of regular gas (I don’t know a lot of people that can afford more) and continuously reports the top 5 gas stations with the best prices within the last 36 hours, then the price is purged. The prices are posted by members of the community, as they find them. There is no cost to use the service, either to post prices or to get prices. If you buy gas at the same station all the time and don’t care about the price, then the GasBuzz gets a so what!

But if you think that by buying gas for the best price you can find may help lower the price, then you understand what the GasBuzz is all about. You as a motorist can take an active roll in helping yourself and others find the best price. Register as a member, then post the price of gas when you see it.
